What each dataset holds, and where it is thin.
For every dataset: its source and licence, how many rows it holds and over which years, when it last refreshed against the cadence it keeps, where two sources describe the same projects and how often they agree, and what the data does not publish. Counted from the rows themselves. There is no overall score: the counts are the report.

Tracker against the Principal Buyer register
Two sources give a stage for the same Saudi solar and wind projects: the KAPSARC-based tracker and the Saudi Power Procurement Company’s own register. Matched by project name, by the rule the site’s own figures use.

Out of 38 rows the register lists today, 38 match a tracker project.
The tracker projects the register does not list, by the tracker’s own stage: operational 1, under construction 2, tendered 17, announced 0; of these, dedicated off-grid systems 5. The register lists what the Principal Buyer has contracted, so a project outside it is not by itself an error in either source.
Where the two differ, the site counts the register’s stage, because the Principal Buyer contracts the power and signs off commercial operation, and keeps the tracker’s own reading published beside it.
