Renewable power
Maps where the Saudi renewable build-out stands by region and by stage, starting from about 70 GW of project coverage: the 63.8 GW KAPSARC grid register, 4.49 GW across three dedicated systems, and 2 GW of separately reported ENOWA tenders whose awards remain unverified. In the July 2026 KAPSARC snapshot 17.81 GW of that is classified as installed and the remainder is under development or tendered, so the total spans stages rather than describing operating capacity. Figures are as compiled on 12 September 2026.

What the report covers
Saudi Arabia's renewable expansion is a geographic story as much as a capacity story.
This map series starts with approximately 70 GW of project coverage. It combines KAPSARC's 63.8 GW grid-project register, 4.49 GW across three dedicated systems, and 2 GW of separately reported ENOWA tenders whose current awards remain unverified.
These projects are at different stages. In KAPSARC's July 2026 snapshot, 17.81 GW is classified as installed; the remaining grid capacity is under development or tendered.
The maps show where installed capacity is concentrated and where development and procurement are expanding.
